Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight between Ohio and North Carolina
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Assist with loading/unloading when required
- Participate in ongoing safety and compliance training
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience OR graduation from accredited CDL school
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
