Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes in Ohio and surrounding states
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using electronic logging systems
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and defensive driving techniques at all times
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Provide excellent customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) or willingness to obtain one through our training program
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Basic knowledge of vehicle operation and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety excellence
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions precisely
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
