Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for freight transportation across the Pacific Northwest
- Perform thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all traffic laws
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B) - NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Ability to pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of vehicle operation and safety standards
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety-first practices
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and overnight trips
- Good communication skills and customer service orientation
- Willingness to complete company-sponsored paid training program
- Clean driving record with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.)
