Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across Louisiana and the Gulf South
- Complete thorough pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status and route conditions
- Participate in ongoing safety training and professional development programs
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with DOT physical requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's Permit (CDL Permit)
- Ability to pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with smartphone technology
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety excellence
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
