Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles following FMCSA regulations
- Complete local and regional routes with punctual deliveries
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Adapt to changing schedules and route conditions
- Represent Heartland Transport with professionalism in customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to obtain CDL-A license (training provided)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
- No commercial driving experience required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
