Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry vans, reefers) across Ohio and surrounding states
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license (minimum 1 year clean record)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain CDL-A license through our paid training program
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation
- No DUIs or major moving violations in past 5 years
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
