Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles across North Carolina and surrounding states
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Participate in ongoing safety and compliance training
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain CDL-A license (paid training provided)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb trailer steps
- Flexible schedule including overnight and weekend travel
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Basic math and communication skills
