Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Secure cargo using straps, chains, and binders according to weight and balance regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Deliver freight on time and maintain a professional appearance while representing the brand.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen.
- Strong commitment to safety, time management, and customer service.
- Basic math skills for weight calculations and documentation.
