Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans in a safe and professional manner.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs and complete all necessary delivery paperwork.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Represent the company positively to customers and the public at all times.
- Ensure the truck is kept clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license (or permit with training plan).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Basic English language proficiency.
- Willingness to work varying shifts and weekends if necessary.
