Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles within Long Beach metro area and surrounding regions
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Assist in route planning and timely deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (Class B acceptable for some routes)
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement and transportation laws
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Willingness to complete paid company training
