Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans in a safe and professional manner.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 1 moving violation in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol screening.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Willingness to work varying shifts and weekends as needed.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
