Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient loading/unloading and delivery schedules
- Uphold strict safety protocols and represent our brand with professionalism
- Handle specialized cargo including temperature-controlled and hazardous materials (with endorsement)
- Utilize GPS technology for route optimization and real-time communication
- Participate in continuous safety training and equipment certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR or regional driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety procedures
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
