Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner on local routes within the Omaha metro area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo safely using proper equipment (hand truck, pallet jack, etc.).
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork (e.g., delivery receipts, mileage logs).
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B (depending on vehicle type).
- Must possess a clean driving record with no more than one serious moving violation in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement and safety standards.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
