Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks/trailers) following DOT regulations
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes across Virginia and surrounding states
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
- Assist in training new drivers on best practices
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Willingness to pass pre-employment drug test and background check
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with GPS systems
