Responsibilities
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo safety during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and mileage logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and delays.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical) and valid DOT drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and driving record verification.
- Strong commitment to safety and time management skills.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
