Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently over designated routes.
- Ensure timely delivery of cargo to clients while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Document and report any vehicle issues or cargo damages immediately to dispatch.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) entries in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight safely using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers at each delivery point.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical) valid for at least 6 months.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a mandatory drug screen and background check.
- Strong commitment to safety, time management, and professional conduct.
- Basic mechanical knowledge of trucks is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to undergo paid training for entry-level drivers.
