Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers over various terrains and in all weather conditions.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle interior and exterior.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (DVIR) and adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and any issues encountered on the road.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience preferred (Entry Level candidates with strong work ethic considered).
- Current Medical Card and DOT Physical on file.
- Clean driving record (no DUIs or major moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
