Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Safely transport cargo to designated delivery locations within the New York area.
- Manage cargo loading and unloading to ensure product integrity and safety.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or Class B) with the necessary endorsements.
- Clean driving record (MVR) demonstrating safe driving history.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and time management skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
