Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring the safety of the merchandise and the vehicle.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving time and mileage (ELD/ACMS compliance).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and physical.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel and work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
