As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods, ensuring our customers receive the highest level of service.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and legally in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, utilizing proper tie-down techniques to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes, delays, and delivery status.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, including Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Represent the company professionally and maintain a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B License (Clean driving record required).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screening.
- Must be at least 21 years of age (or 18 for intrastate driving depending on specific route requirements).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement procedures and safety regulations.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to undergo a background check.
