As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and professional manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is road-ready.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and hours of service compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Uphold a clean driving record and professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) or DOT physical card.
- Minimum of 0-1 year of driving experience preferred, but we will train qualified candidates.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
