Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers on various roadways.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment safely.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass the Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic English comprehension skills for safety communication.
