Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding cargo status.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B (or willingness to obtain one).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Basic English reading and writing skills for logbook compliance.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to undergo a drug screen and background check.
