Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to deliver freight to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Load and unload cargo safely using proper lifting techniques and equipment to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and delivery logs in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients and resolving delivery issues efficiently.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Keep the vehicle clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B.
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR) with no serious traffic violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read maps or utilize GPS navigation systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
