Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle (CMV) in accordance with all federal and state regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT standards.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo safety and preventing damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and ensure all documentation is up to date and compliant.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, shippers, and receivers to resolve any delivery issues promptly.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, traffic laws, and traffic control devices.
- Represent Pioneer Transport Solutions professionally while representing the company's brand on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no more than two moving violations in the last three years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for performing minor vehicle maintenance and fluid checks.
- Strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service.
