Job Summary
We are looking for Class A or Class B Commercial Drivers to transport goods safely and efficiently across the Mid-Atlantic region. If you have a clean driving record and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and mechanical soundness of the vehicle.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring weight distribution is balanced.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours (DOT 3070/3072) and delivery records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Keep the truck cab and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or Class B) with the necessary endorsements (Tanker, Hazmat, Double/Triple Trailers) preferred.
- Automobile Operator's License (MVR) and valid DOT medical card.
- Able to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screening.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language to the degree necessary to perform the job.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and occasional weekends.
