Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper safety procedures and equipment.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and accurate logbook entries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Maintain a clean driving record and professional appearance at all times.
- Ensure the security and proper handling of freight during transit.
- Adhere to all company policies, DOT regulations, and hours-of-service rules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must possess a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) for interstate driving.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Willingness to obtain necessary endorsements (Hazmat, Tanker, or Doubles/Triples) as required.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and customer service orientation.
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical examination.
