Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles within designated routes across New York
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Load/unload cargo safely and efficiently
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of NYC traffic laws and routes
- Strong commitment to safety and professionalism
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
