Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across Texas and Virginia
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
- Assist in maintaining vehicle cleanliness and basic upkeep
- Support warehouse operations during off-peak hours
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Willingness to travel between Austin, TX and Virginia
