Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within Texas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation per FMCSA regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route optimization
- Handle specialized freight including temperature-controlled and oversized loads
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- TWIC card and HazMat endorsement preferred
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Texas roadways and transportation regulations
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varied weather conditions
