Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend delivery routes across Indiana
- Transport freight while maintaining strict adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch for real-time route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Load/unload shipments with proper material handling techniques
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to work Saturdays/Sundays with occasional holiday shifts
- Pass DOT physical examination and random drug screening
- Familiarity with Indianapolis metro routes and Indiana highway systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb/descend trailer safely
- Strong time management and customer service skills
