Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance records
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Load/unload cargo securely and verify shipping documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage delivery timelines while ensuring on-time performance
- Complete electronic logging systems and required paperwork
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable driving experience (or CDL school graduate)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service excellence
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
- Must be at least 21 years of age
