Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on highways and local roads.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and handling.
- Maintain accurate records of miles driven, fuel consumption, and delivery logs (ELD).
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and FMCSA regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading and unloading processes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) valid for at least 90 days.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor vehicle maintenance as needed.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including early mornings and weekends.
