Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles across Texas and neighboring states
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Load/unload freight with proper handling protocols
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Complete delivery documentation and route optimization
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year driving experience OR willingness to train
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for regional overnight travel
