Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods across Ohio and surrounding states
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Follow DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Manage delivery schedules with GPS navigation and route optimization
- Complete accurate paperwork including delivery logs and bills of lading
- Represent Ohio Logistics Pro with professionalism in customer interactions
- Participate in ongoing safety training and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of truck mechanics and troubleshooting
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
