Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods while adhering to DOT regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Provide excellent customer service during loading/unloading processes
- Follow efficient routing to meet delivery deadlines
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight calculations and delivery documentation
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Willingness to travel throughout Ohio and Virginia
- High school diploma or equivalent required
