Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) across NYC metro area
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and NYC traffic laws
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Operate in diverse weather and traffic conditions
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license (NY State)
- Clean MVR with no major violations in 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of NYC geography and delivery zones
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service
- Flexible availability for early morning/weekend shifts
- No prior experience required - training provided
