Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) within Atlanta metropolitan area
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records using ELD systems
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while prioritizing safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse teams
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of Atlanta roadways and Georgia transportation laws
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for on-time deliveries
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
