Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) on designated routes throughout the Albuquerque area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all necessary paperwork.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and traffic laws at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Keep the truck and trailer clean and well-maintained.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B.
- Must possess a clean driving record and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Basic mechanical aptitude to perform minor vehicle troubleshooting if needed.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
