Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A or B vehicles safely and efficiently on regional and California routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding status updates.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Current Department of Transportation (DOT) medical card.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel to California and other regional locations.
- Basic computer literacy for log entry.
