Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently in various weather conditions.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure 100% compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, utilizing proper lifting and equipment techniques.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (Class A preferred for entry level roles).
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong work ethic, time management skills, and a commitment to safety.
