Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across regional routes
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage delivery schedules with precise time management and route optimization
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and clients regarding shipments
- Secure cargo properly and document all transportation paperwork
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety systems
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb in/out of trucks frequently
- High school diploma or equivalent required
