Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles within Washington DC metropolitan area
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and document findings
- Load/unload cargo with proper securement protocols
- Maintain accurate trip logs and delivery documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and local traffic laws
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route updates
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge of commercial vehicles
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings/weekends
