Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage delivery documentation and communicate shipment status
- Provide outstanding customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Represent Coastal Transport Solutions professionally at all client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of Virginia traffic laws and interstate navigation
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including weekends
- Willingness to complete paid company-sponsored training program
