Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods across regional routes
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as per FMCSA regulations
- Provide excellent customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route changes or delays
- Assist in basic cargo securing and inventory management
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Willingness to undergo paid company-sponsored training
- High school diploma or equivalent required
