Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, soil, and debris to job sites
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all hauls
- Adhere to strict traffic regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries while maintaining safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of dump truck or heavy equipment experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Fresno area and surrounding construction sites
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Physical ability to climb in/out of equipment and perform manual tasks
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
- Flexibility to work early morning shifts and occasional overtime
