Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain a box truck for local/regional deliveries in Washington, DC metropolitan area
- Manage end-to-end logistics including loading, unloading, and timely route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service through clear communication and professional conduct
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation for billing purposes
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through reliable service
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient scheduling and route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable Box Truck driving experience
- Strong knowledge of Washington, DC area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical loading/unloading duties
- Reliable personal vehicle for daily commute to dispatch hub
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor truck maintenance
