Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local/regional freight delivery
- Load/unload shipments with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Reliable personal vehicle for daily commute to depot
- Smartphone with GPS and data connectivity
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
