Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks, vans, or flatbeds) within Detroit metro area
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company policies
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license (or willingness to obtain one)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of Detroit metro area geography
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
