Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely across designated routes in North Carolina
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch for route optimization and time management
- Report mechanical issues promptly to maintenance team
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (North Carolina residents)
- Minimum 1 year driving experience OR recent CDL graduate
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and logbooks
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Flexibility for irregular schedules and overnight travel
